North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference

Meeting Date: 3/11/2014

Location: Denver, CO

A set of NGO and USFS partners are bringing together a diverse group of professionals to discuss issues and opportunities regarding what urbanized areas mean for wildlife conservation at local and landscape scales (see abstract below). The first time we held this workshop was at the NAWNR Conference last year and people found it so valuable to bring diverse ideas and new partners together, we were asked to do it again. If you are planning to come to the NAWNR Conference anyway, or if you work in the Front Range neighborhood, please plan to arrive at the Denver Sheraton in time for coffee and meeting the speakers and potential new partners at 8:30 am on March 11. Whether you can be there or not, please circulate the attached program and flyer amongst your networks. Or, the program and flyer can be found electronically at: http://www.fs.fed.us/research/urban/events.
