Thursday, March 26, 2015

A new report produced by members of the Integrated Ecosystem Model (IEM) research team describes the progress of the IEM project between January 1, 2013 and August 31, 2014.

The report also includes information about new data products developed during this time period, including climate, land cover, soil properties (including permafrost), fire disturbance, treeline and vegetation dynamics, plant productivity, and carbon storage. It also provides updates on the thermokarst disturbance model and models that use IEM outputs to estimate how landscape and ecological change will affect natural resources.
