NPLCC Recognized for using Traditional Ecological Knowledge

The NPLCC was highlighted in the recent Fall 2012 edition on the Alaska LCC Newsletter. The article focuses on how the NPLCC is incorporating Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) into their work. In 2012, the NPLCC funded seven TEK pilot projects to better understand climate change impacts on tribes and how to share TEK. The article also described the NPLCC’s use of TEK in developing their four year Science and TEK Strategy.
