Cold Water Climate Shield work featured in The Oregonian

Recent work from Dan Isaak and the U.S. Forest Service that maps cold-water refuges for cutthroat trout is featured in The Oregonian.

These ongoing efforts, that received funding from the North Pacific LCC and Great Northern LCC in stream temperature data gathering phases, is continuously helping scientists and land managers in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana and Wyoming. Efforts continue to expand their range and improve decisions around valuable fish species.
