From May 12th-15th in Anacortes, Washington, the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals is hosting a Climate Changed Adaptation Planning course and Forum. An optional course will be held on May 12th to provide an introduction to planning for climate change impacts, with examples of tribes that have been going through the adaptation planning process. Following the training on May 13th-15th, a National Tribal Forum on Air Quality will take place for attendees to to meet and discuss current policies, regulatory initiatives, funding, and technical topics in air quality. These trainings are intended for tribal environmental and natural resource professionals who expect to be involved in climate change adaptation planning.
