Partnership Engagement Subcommittee
The NPLCC recognizes that numerous organizations work on landscape conservation that are not directly represented on the NPLCC Steering Committee. These organizations represent important natural and cultural resource managers, policy-makers, researchers, and users that the NPLCC needs to successfully engage to achieve its mission. The partnership engagement strategy was developed by a Partnership Engagement working group on behalf of the Steering Committee. The Strategy outlines how the NPLCC will engage partners. Currently, the NPLCC is conducting a partner inventory and interviewing partners to learn about their needs and interests. Once this is complete, the NPLCC will develop clear goals, objectives and implementation plans for engaging partners in the NPLCC region.
