Climate Access will be hosting a webinar on Communicating about Winter Climate Impacts on Wednesday Feb. 25 from 10-11am PST (1-2pm EST). Climate Access will host a roundtable discussion on how to frame winter climate impacts and use them as teachable moments to engage with audiences.

From record-breaking snowstorms to coastal flooding, this winter has wreaked havoc on communities across the United States, particularly those most vulnerable to frigid temperatures and rising seas. The severe winter weather has received a great deal of media attention, yet its connection to climate disruption is often not made. As the risks from winter climate impacts continue to grow more frequent and intense, how can communicators illustrate the costs of inaction and the need to prepare for shifting weather patterns?
